📖 Text (B1 – ca. 180–200 Wörter)

“Net zero” means that we do not produce more carbon dioxide than we can remove from the air. Today, many countries want to reach this goal to fight climate change.

There are good reasons for going net zero. First, climate change is a serious problem. Temperatures are rising, and we see more extreme weather, like floods and heatwaves. Second, clean energy, such as solar and wind power, is better for the environment. It also creates new jobs and can improve our quality of life.

However, some people think that going net zero is difficult and expensive. Companies need to change their production, and people must change their lifestyle. For example, they may need to use less energy or travel less by car.

In my opinion, going net zero is necessary. Even if it is not easy, we must protect our planet for future generations. Small changes in our daily life can already make a big difference.

📖 Text (B1 – ca. 180–200 Wörter)

Today, many cities are building bigger and taller buildings. Skyscrapers, bridges, and large projects are part of modern life. This trend is often called “building big”.

There are many advantages. First, big buildings save space. In large cities, there is not enough land, so tall buildings are a good solution. Second, modern buildings can be very innovative and use new technology.

However, there are also disadvantages. Big projects can be very expensive and take a long time to finish. They can also harm the environment and change the city’s culture. Some people think that cities lose their identity when they build too many modern buildings.

In my opinion, building big can be useful, but we must be careful. Cities should find a balance between modern development and tradition.

📖 Text (B1 – ca. 180–200 Wörter)

Today, we live in an interconnected world. This means that people, countries, and cultures are connected through the internet, travel, and communication.

One big advantage is communication. We can talk to people from different countries in seconds. We can also learn about other cultures and share ideas. This helps us understand the world better.

Another advantage is access to information. Students can learn online, watch videos, and read articles from all over the world. This makes learning easier and more interesting.

However, there are also problems. People spend too much time online and sometimes feel lonely. There is also fake news, which can be dangerous.

In my opinion, living in an interconnected world is very positive, but we must use technology in a responsible way.
